The DeKalb County Fleet Management Department is a propane autogas customer of Blossman Gas of Douglasville, GA. Autogas is an important part of the county’s environmental stewardship program as propane, a clean American fuel, significantly reduces emissions when compared with both gasoline and diesel vehicles consistently over the lifetime of the vehicle. Autogas is also costs approximately $1 less per gallon than gasoline which substantially reduces fuel costs to the department’s budget. Alliance AutoGas international network) since 2009 and uses an average of 73,000 autogas gallons annually, making a forcible positive impact for the county/department by reducing emissions and fuel expenditure.
