The Alliance AutoGas Story
Alliance AutoGas relies on the experience and expertise of our partners to provide a vertically integrated alternative fuel solution – from AutoGas Hybrid vehicle conversion to on-site fueling.
In 2007, Detroit Metro Cars committed to converting their fleet to clean, economical propane AutoGas. Working with Alliance AutoGas founding members American Alternative Fuel and Blossman Gas, Inc., Metro Cars converted 25 vehicles and implemented an 18,000-gallon fueling site at their fleet base. The process was a great success, and Metro Cars has now converted over 70 sedans, vans and minibuses – with plans to continue converting vehicles.
In 2008, American Alternative Fuel and Blossman Gas, Inc. helped two more fleet customers begin the process of converting their fleet vehicles to AutoGas Hybrids: Peninsula Propane and Colorado Cab. Peninsula Propane has converted 39 Para Med Transit Vans. Colorado Cab of Denver, CO (a Veolia Transportation company) has converted 50 vehicles – mostly Crown Victorias – and plans to convert 50 more. These vehicles are fueled by an 18,000-gallon on-site fueling facility.
Alliance AutoGas was launched in 2009 as the first vertically integrated solution providing turn-key AutoGas Hybrid vehicle conversion, on-site fueling infrastructure, ongoing fuel supply, and technical & safety support. The success that our fleet customers have experienced and the realization that our business model is completely unprecedented in the alternative vehicle fuel industry spurred the formation of Alliance AutoGas.
We know our solution is unique, and we’re proud of the network of strong partners that form Alliance AutoGas. Feel free to contact us today with any questions, or to learn how your fleet can lower emissions and fuel costs simultaneously.
