The Alliance AutoGas nationwide network of partners includes Certified Conversion Centers that will convert and maintain your autogas vehicles. Alliance AutoGas certified conversion technicians provide a quality-controlled venue for EPA-certified conversions and can also train your fleet mechanical team to perform in-house conversions for large-scale operations.
Alliance AutoGas uses the Prins Vapor Sequential Injection System. Used widely in Europe and Asia, the bi-fuel Prins system starts on gasoline and immediately switches to autogas. The system’s bi-fuel capacity ensures that the autogas vehicle driver can switch back to gasoline if an autogas filling station cannot be reached.
The cost of conversion is dependent upon the type of vehicle (car, van, or truck) being converted and the number of vehicles in the fleet. A gasoline to autogas conversion costs approximately $5,800.00 with potential for state, municipal and federal grants and tax incentives. Conversion costs are typically offset by fuel cost savings and reduced vehicle maintenance which yield a very attractive ROI.
The Prins system, as provided by Alliance AutoGas founding partner American Alternative Fuel, comes with a 3-year, 36,000 mile warranty and includes DOT-approved fuel tanks with multiple mounting options.
Public and private fleets are ideal for conversion to propane autogas because they are characterized by high mileage within a fixed radius of travel.
We work with many types of fleets: law enforcement; taxi, limousine, and paratransit; municipal and state governments; food and beverage distribution companies; utility companies; energy companies and many more.
